Default TF rear spacer question

Any of you that know about these please comment. There is a longer part the sticks down thats sopose to help re-align the spring. How does this not seriously limit how far down the spring can travel? I might have 7-8 inches of downward travel. Also do I need to remove the rear bumpstops?

Default Hmmmm

A better question is how would this limit how far down the spring can travel. This sits on top of the spring and only ensures that at full droop were the spring to become unseated that the penis looking part works like a guide to reseat it. I run this as a 1" spacer in the rear of my Jeep with the Teraflex 2.5" coil lift, works great. Hope this helps. On second read I think I get what you mean. No you dont touch your bump stop if anything you would need more. I am guessing what you are thinking is that the guide (penis) may contact the top of the bottom spring perch. I can assure that if this happens your spring is far to compressed anyway.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. I do tend to compress my springs when I drive down the beach and hit the dunes.
