Default TF spring lift and rake question

Hi, will the TF 2.5" spring lift correct the rake? Do any other spring lifts correct the rake? I have stock bumpers so no extra weight.

I'll second that. The TF 2.5" coil kit left no noticeable rake when installed on my Unlimited Rubicon.

The TF lifts will correct the Rake; however, if you add a winch or something heavy up front that isn't balanced out in the rear you will have a rake. Most folks add a 1/2" spacer up front to mitigate this issue.

I like the rake. I have the lift kit (not installed yet) and I plan on putting spacers in the back. I hate when I put anything a little heavy in the back and the ass end sags. I've got 4 bags of water softener in it right now and the back is way lower than the front. Drives me crazy! Just imagine what a big spare tire would do.

I'm with you on the rake/no rake debate. I pull a trailer and my headlights point to the sky if I don't have some rake in the rear. On my JK; however, even with a 3" lift up front and an 1/2" spacer in front & rear I still end up having about 1/4" rake in the front. My rig is a heavy beast up front. I have an expedition one bumper, Warn winch, RIPP supercharger and Dual Batteries. Towing still brings me down to nose high, so I compensate by using air-bags pumped up to 35 PSI in the rear. This keeps me about neutral to sometimes slightly tail low. Putting a 1" spacer in the rear would be too much for me for normal day-to-day driving. I wish they had .75" rear spacers.
