Spring rates are more dependent on what options you have, I've seen Sports with higher spring rates than a Rubi, a hard top with towing package will have a higher rate spring than a soft top will
I suggest you do a search for "Solving the stock spring" as there is a long running thread on this. General consensus is that there is no hard firm rule. Generally speaking the four doors have higher spring rates than the 2 doors. The hard top has higher rates than the soft top, and max tow package probably gets higher rare than without max tow. Just because its a rubi won't result automatically in a different spring, though the rubis do have the different shocks. I'm not sure what is different about them. I only know the color is different.
Technically 100% true.
I have read dozens of threads, written several threads about factory coil numbers on different JK forums, and have done 4 coil swaps on friends JK's.
Options or the lack of (hardtop, air con, tow package, etc) dictate coil numbers not the model of the JK (Sport, Sahara, or Rubi)
See below

Red Rubi shocks (what we all call them) are mono tube high pressure gas shocks, very similar to the after market shocks that you can buy with the better lift kits. They have internal valveing better suited to harsh off-road driving.
They also come on some models other than Rubis. They are usually listed as part of a "Heavy Duty Suspension" option.
