I just put on the 4" x-series lift and it rides great but my only concern about the spring/shock lift is there's no way for you to adjust anything. With mine, I have the adjustable track bar, front/rear upper and lower control arms. I'd be wary of a 4" lift without these parts because you're going to have to replace your drive shafts sooner than I will.

The upper adjustable control arms allow you set the proper pinion angle and caster of the front/ rear axles. If you do not set the angle properly you're going to pinch the driveshafts and over time they will have to be replaced. Both drive shafts will cost about $1100 total not including labor. Which if you go ahead and buy the fully adjustable lift you may never run into the problem since everything is dialed in.

Just my $.02, but a 3" lift would probably be better suited and give you a little more peace of mind. Or you could always save up some more cash.

ya actually the 4 in x series lift was my first choice but then after seeing now much my tires and rims were going to cost i was like maybe i should not going with the 1100 lift and go with the 500 but i suppose if im going to do it right might as well do it the first time hahahah

It's always better to wait to get what you want no matter how hard it is to wait. I had to wait a month to get the rims I wanted off backorder. I never want to do something twice, especially with the suspension. I feel that once it's dialed in and you tinker with it again, something always rears it's ugly head and you say "I should have just let it go and not touch it"

But the 4" lift is great. It's a lot better than stock (despite what others might say about Rough Country) and the steering doesn't feel flight at all and so far no DW. I think most problems arise when you try to do stuff on the cheap

Do some research on the Cams and the Trackbar Bracket/Drop Pitman combo.

A lot of people are happy with this lift, and a lot of others will give the derogatory "you get what you pay for" comment. Search some of the other threads to see if it is right for your needs...

Same here. Add the rear coil angle spacers and the wheel spacers to your purchase. With the wheel spacers, you do not need to use 4.25 backspace rims, you can use your oem rims; like I did. Here are my comments on the kit:
