Default Tyres - is there such a thing as...

33/11/17 tires???

Reason being is that many have suggested that a 33x12.5 is too wide for the stock Rubi rim, and also we can't have our tyres sticking out past the flares over here nor are we allowed to have spacers- they're illegal!!

From calulations given to me the 285/70/17 is 32.4 x 11.2 so want something a touch larger.

Thanks.

They'll fit, you just might have some rubbing issues without spacers. As ar as 33/11/17? Just look at the specs for different tires to seeho wthe measure. The problem that you'll have is the offset on the Rubicon tire isn't enough to run something that wide without rubbing or using spacers. If you opt for a different rim, you'll be fine.
