Thin lug nuts
I got a new set of lug nuts when I bought my rims and just threw them on when I installed them. They're the small, open ended keyed ones. It's basically a regular nut but it uses a special tool. After taking them off a few times they're starting to strip, the chrome is peeling, and they look like crap, I went to swap back in my stock lug nuts and found out that they don't fit into the recessed holes in my rims. Does anyone have the same problem? The back spacing on my rims makes it so my lugs are completely concealed in my rim, and I need a thin, low profile lug to replace the crap ones that are on it now. Anyone have any suggestions?

I've got the gorilla locking lugs. I only use one, of the five, on my spare. I've taken it off and on about 4 times with no problem, but now I have noticed it seems to be rusting. On another forum a guy uses these also for all his lugs, and said he also had some rust. Funny thing is that it's only on the spare.
The inner most shinny area is my wheel were I use a quarter to mask off the plasti-dip.

I an not a fan of "keyed" lug nuts which require a special tool to remove/install. That is just asking for a headache on the trail. If you want to use them in town, fine. On the trail it is an invitation to Mr. Murphy to lose that special socket (or have left it at home, or have it be rusty, etc.).
