Thinking about building a custom front bumper
I had an idea, don't know if it will work or look good but I have to try.
I have a connecting rod from one of our engines that I want to modify.
It would have to be spilt right down the center by a decent metal shop so I can have two opposing pieces.
It's still in the engineering stage.
Could be with or without the end caps.
Could overlap.
Need to play some more.
Rod weighs 65 pounds with cap and bolts.

If I cross them I'll have to cut a section out of one and weld it together.
Fog lights could go in the crank end sections.

I can see this.. creative, fog lights could mount in the openings.. Angle the smaller top loops outward as a stinger type design.. Question, I though these are cast aluminum or are they case steel..
