Default Thinking about a cat back exhaust

I hate the way the stock JK sounds, so I want to upgrade the exhaust. I know there are no performance gains to be had. I just want a meaner sound.

I'v been looking mainly at the MBRP kit or the Dynomax kit. Any experience with either? I'v heard the MBRP relocation kit requires you relocate the evap canister on the 2 door model, and is louder in the cabin. Thoughts?

I've been running the Mbrp off road stainless exhaust for about two months now. It has a nice tone to it but it can be a bit loud at times in the cabin. Overall I really like it. Maybe it's time for me to invest in a better audio system.

I have the Magnaflow stainless. Get sound and easy install. Very clean. I've also had the Flowmaster Delta 50 and it is great too. Louder, but can't crush it.

That's the clip that got me interested in an exhaust . Which setup is that? The high clearance or normal?

I went with the MBRP black cat-back exhaust and I dig the sound under WOT. Idle leaves a bit to be desired as it doesn't sound much different than stock (but I like loud exhaust, so maybe that's just me). Cruisin' on the highway, the sound is noticeable, but not obnoxious and no drone. Bottom line: I'd definitely do the MBRP system again, and the black pipe and muffler look pretty cool too.

Heard mbrp has the most gains in hp and torq ( doesn't really matter bc we are talking about Maby +1hp) and Sounds great. Same with the dynomax. I didn't like the relocation of the evap canister as I have a skid for it so I'm just going to order the dynomax muffler and get my shop to do a custom exhaust. I bet I come out a lot cheaper than the cat back systems and I will have the rock clearance I am looking for. (I do not like the idea of the muffler being in the stock location-if you only saw the damage to my stock muffler from rock krawling). Hope this helps!

This is the "rockcrawler system"
http://www.dynomax.com/application_i...shed%20Muffler

It was installed by Off Road Evolution and it has a few different exhaust bends to accommodate their EVO suspension.
