Default Thinking of adding 2 to my 2.5bb... possible???

I've been thinking about adding 2inch springs to my TF 2.5bb because I'd like just a little more (who would'nt). I am already purchasing adjustible track bars so I figure why not control arms AND springs?!

Can this be done?

If so, which combination of ways?

I don't know... If you are gonna spend the money on springs and 8 arms, you might as well just get a full kit of 4 -6 and forget the spacers.

I agree with the above, just go with a 4" kit and sell your current kit............what size tires are you running/plan to run? Hopefully atleast 35's with the planned lift......

What they said. Sell what you have now and get a new 4" kit. You'll be much happier that you did.

Copy that!

Yeah, thanks. It is 35's I'm going with. I found the new KMC XD Series Badland's in Bronze to be something extraordinary. And a set of fat 35 MT's would suit me just fine with those.

I want a kit that has adjustibility and at least 4inches. But I only have limited dough. That's the main problem... But then again, when isn't it?

If your going to buy springs anyways and want adjustability it would only make since to purchase a 4 inch kit. 2" and 4" are going to cost the same. And id you buy a 4 inch kit and sell your old kit, you would be out less money than keeping your old kit and adding 2" springs and control arms with needed lift accessories.

There is the guy who added the 4" to a BB. It can be done, but again if you are gonna spend 700 plus on arms and another 4 or 5 hundy on springs, then just get a new kit and lose the bb and sell it.

I have an alternative for you. I recently changed/added to my TeraFlex BB also.
I know you said you wanted 4" but here's what I did.

I ordered Rusty's 3.25" Springs. Since you've already ordered track bars, the springs would be all you need. They're $220 for front and rear(2" or 3.25").
I actually think their 3.25 raised it a little more than 3.25

I then just took out the BB spacers but re-used everything else (bumpstops, brakeline brackets, hydroshocks, etc).

I'm extremely happy with the new look and how it performs.
If you have any questions, let me know.
