Default Third row seat user!

If you have the third row set up what setup did you use for seat belts?

over the shoulder straps? if so how did you mount it?

just lap straps? where did you bolt the straps to?

I finally got me a seat and just order teraflex's kit now thinking about seat belt ideas.

I bought these
Corbeau 2" 3-Point Harnesses
With the snaps, and I attached the snaps to where the child seat restraints clip to. For the two lap snaps they are attached to the 3rd row seat, the shoulder part is attached to on the back of the 2nd row restraint clip. You can get the quick disconnect for the shoulder part but it is not necessary. My seats face backwards.

The little passengers are outrageous I got a awesome deal on a two door rear seat. Just ordered the Teraflex third row seat brackets. Not sure which way I'm going to have the seat but want to be sure they can strap in.

Yep. Each loop is rated to 40-50 lbs. Each clip is hooked to a different seat hook so 120-150lbs. Well within the limits of the kid or wife that fits back there. Other option would be cargo tie downs but I don't know how much they are rated to.

Be careful! I'm sure the rating is not considering impact forces. 60-70 lb child can create far more inertia when the jeep makes a sudden change in direction ( impact). You really should consider bolting the belts through the floor pan with some (at least) 3/8 grade 8 bolts and BIG flat washers on each side of the floor pan. With lock washers and stover nuts. Be safe first and easy second.
