Im finally getting around to installing my Ripp in my 2012 jk. But I have to drive to my buddy's house so the jeep will be at full operation temperature. Any thoughts on how long it needs to sit before I start. It will be 5* tomorrow morning.

well at 5* i wouldnt think it would take very long to cool down... under a hour . you aren't going to have to install the ripp in 5 * temp are you ? good luck you will love the ripp

I got everything installed yesterday it took longer than planned. I had a few problems with the tuner but after downloading the latest update all the dash lights went off. I got to drive it a little last night and I have bad surging when I come to a stop or need to down shift to 1st or 2nd. I have a 6 speed so when I come to a stop with the clutch engaged the rpms rev anywhere between 1500-3100 for 5-10 seconds then comes to the 750 +/- range. I'm also having a heating problem when I'm on the highway it's perfect but when I come to a stop it rises fast(I installed ripp's 180* thermostat) I'm going to re-tune it today, check coolant level and lines. Any other ideas??

can't tell to much from the video but doesn't sound like a squeak. I did have a squeak on mine and changed the serpentine belt and no more issues. does it do it through the rpm range or only at idle?

Maybe for the cooling part of it is that you have a air pocket in the motor. The coolant can't flow through.

There is a break in period where the computer has to relearn shift points and how to deal with the supercharger. It took me about a week of use and now it's very very smooth.

If you've never run a supercharger before that is an adjustment for you as well.

I had my Ripp off-road for the first time this weekend; it was impressive.
