Default Are those stickers on AEV wheels??

Just curios if the yellow center cap on the AEV wheels are stickers? I saw a picture of a pintler without the center emblem and was curious if you have to put a supplied sticker on the wheel. They did the same thing with the emblem on the front bumper. Anyone have any issues with them falling off if it is a sticker?

Yes they are stickers, with a raised clear coat. and have real sticky glue! and they ship off. You have to apply them. I have a 1000mi no pbroblems yet. ANd I have been asked if they are Ferrari wheels!

Mine are sitting in the box in the garage.
I think I will wait till after the winter to
put them on, Im worried about the road
salt getting to them here...

I am thinking of just getting the Rubi stockers
sipped and running them in the winter.

They do look a bit like Ferrari wheels, I really like
how they looked when I held them up to my Steel
Blue Rubi, their argent really sets it off! When I
picked them up from AEV they told me to clean the
area around the tag/sticker with the alcohol pads
and they will stick real well! I kinda thought/hoped
they would not be stickers but it sounds like
they hold up well.

Thats kinda disappointing. AEV is a great company and you would think they would make something better than a sticker for a center cap. That glue can't be that sticky. Wonder if you could put some other type of adhesive on there without damaging the sticker. Maybe some guerilla glue.

Took mine off.
The have to be forcefully peeled. They do not "just come off" and will not fall off.

I used the OEM jeep caps off the stock wheels and they clipped right in and I now have 4000 miles with no problems.

They are not really stickers. They are pretty thick, and have a peel off paper back. I don't think they will fall off too easily. Adhesives have come a long way. Most body molding, and emblems on vehicles are "glued" on. Don't see many just falling off. If you clean the surface as instructed, you shouldn't have any issues.

If they do come off, I bet AEV would send new ones. They are a great company as stated above.
