Default Thoughts on Mopar 2" Lift??

I have the chance to get a 2" Mopar lift from a buddy who is trading in his JK at a really nice price. I just wanted to see if anyone had any long term opinions of this lift? It is the premium kit with Bilstein shocks. Not sure if the springs are produced by Mopar, AEV, or another company? Long term goal of my rig is only 33s, so the 2" lift would suit me perfect as far as height. Link to exact lift below...

They are pricey, but I have never heard anything negative about them, and the Bilstein shocks are nice. If you can get a deal, I wouldn't hesitate.

Ditto I think they are made by OME or another quality lift company. Never heard a single negative other then some people like to hate on Mopar

I've seen the 2" and 2.5" installed on JK's with fox shocks and 33-35's. I've driven them and they do offer a nice ride. I think even Teraflex manufactures some of theirs. They are pricey, but when you compare to some lifts that don't come with front track bar, and shocks they might be comparable then. I'd do it.

Mopar lifts are just rebranded; I'd be more concerned about the condition since it's coming off another vehicle. But hey, if the price is right go for it.

It is coming of my cousin's JK with only 18k miles. Never wheeled and installed new my the stealer. So I know the lift since day one and the price is very right. So I will prob jump on it.

TeraFlex produces these kits for Mopar. I'm a huge fan of TeraFlex but if you have any additional weight on your Jeep these springs WILL sag. My brother has this exact setup and I have more height out of my $300 budget boost than he has with this $2000 kit!

So it seems all good but if you load it up you might need new rear springs. What's a set of heavy duty rear springs for a 2" lift worth.

I have the Mopar 2" lift, but I'm not sure which springs came w mine, I never really looked but they are white.

I added an AEV rear bumper w tire carrier and can't tell any height difference.

That lift comes with Cam Bolts. Since you have to notch out the ca bracket to install them, I assume that your cousin will not be removing them with the rest of the lift? In which case, you need to look at some form of caster correction for yours. (not really needed at that height, just pointing it out...)
