Default Thoughts? Opinions?

Starting consider modification options. I don't want to go crazy. I'm not looking to add a winch or start swapping out bumpers and such. My X will be driven 85% on the highway and the rest will be light off road, trails, and some quarry riding. Nothing to rock crawl on, just some nice open areas with some nice tight maneuverable turns and hills.

With that being said - whatsoever you guys ( and girls ) think about this cheap mod to the front bumper?

I thought so! And for $60 bones. Better wheel clearance and approach angle with minimal modification. Just some cutting. Gets the front tires out in the open with going crazy.

That's the route I took while I decide on what aftermarket front & rear bumper to get in the near future.

How scary/hard was it to cut the bumper? The instructions saw you're cutting thru plastic and metal??

Cut that bumper up! :-)

Then cut the fenders! You won't regret either decision.

Yeah, looks cool and a good easy place to start modding. Be careful it's addictive.

It is definitely an improvement to the stock bumper.

I thought so. And pretty economical for the most part.
