Default Thoughts? Wheel change

So, let me start off by saying I have a 2 door 2011 Sahara, it has a terrible 3.8 engine with a disgusting 3.73 gear ratio. I've been running ruby 17 rims with nitto trail graps 295/70/17. I don't do extreme climbing. I mainly use my jeep for going to the hunting camp, mud and moderate trails. I have a RK 2.5 flex system which yielded me a lot of height, almost 4" front and 3.5 rear. I'm thinking of switching to 20x10 with 35" federals. My current wheel and tire weight is right at 100lbs the 20x10 with the 35"s is gonna put me at 75lbs. Which is a good bit lighter. What are you guys thoughts on this? U think it will throw off my speedo bad? Do you think 20" is to big for a 2 door??? Thanks guys

Yes on the speedo, just get an AEV procal to fix that. As far as the weight difference, it will help but your going from a 33 to a 35, the Jeep will actually feel more like a pig. I did something similar, went from stock to 35, weight combo went from 66 lbs to 101 lbs. The tire size difference is what affected it the most

I wonder if it's going to be less stress on the drive train since its lighter or will it be worse because the 20" are taller and wider?
