WOah wait a second, what is the super 44??? it says it's "the most aggressive, deepest sounding, highest performing four inch case street muffler we’ve ever built!" would that be better than the 40?

THe arguement wasn't against a turd's polishability. It was merely stating that no matter how shiny, all you got is still a turd.

Yeah but a turd that performs better and is more eye appealing is more my style!

when i talked to my local shop they said the 44 is not durable and will not last, and really isn't that great of a product for a daily use car....They said they would do a super 40 and would recommend nothing else

Just local muffler shop. In and out in about 30 minutes and $130 later. The super 40 is black as well, but after a year the black paint on it is about half off..just need to hit it with some more high temp paint. The hardest part was they had to weld on a new hanger - since the muffler is much smaller than the stock one, so the stock hanger is a bit far away. So weld that on, and weld the muffler up and you're done. Could easily be done yourself if you have a welder.

I don't think you'll see that big of a different - not with this turd v6 pushing it.

I used a magnaflow 6" universal round muffler. I Like the sound and it's got a pretty good deep throat to it. I had the local muffler shop do it for $150 including the muffler. I should have done it myself, it's so easy.
I wanted the muffler moved under the drivers seat area and I had them reuse the stock pipe past the axle then added a piece to the end. I would have cut the pipe under the drivers seat where I wanted the muffler to start, clamped it, cut out the length of the muffler out of the stock pipe, then clamped it to the muffler and you're done. I had the muffler shop run the exhaust out the back of the jeep, but I kept bumping into with my shorts so I cut it off past the rear axle and I love it.

Here's the muffler I used http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/universalsatinxl.asp
