Ticking/Rattling when cold start in the morning??

This is my first Jeep and I just noticed it lately...it's pretty cold out now. Sounds like hydrulic lifters that need primed with oil. I might switch to full synthetic and see if that works.

OK so I changed out the crap fram filter for a Motorcraft 400s. same thing this morning when it sat out all night in the 19-20 degree temps....2-3 seconds of lifter like ticking noise at first start up
I will try some mobil1 and maybe a napa gold filter this weekend. I thought the ford filter had a better anti dran valve that would help my cause? dammit. it just makes me cringe to here the cold start ticking.
