Mine had the same issue. A mechanic buddy of mine sprayed some lube at the turnbuckle and broke out a huge pipe wrench. A hot mine to free up. If you do replace it, try some antisieze on the threads before the install.

I'm happy with my Rock Krawler HD Pro Tie Rod.

I just picked up a Synergy tie rod. Supposedly one of the strongest, if not the strongest one out there. The tie rod ends are ridiculously beefy compared to stock and it can easily be adjusted while still on the Jeep. I know Rock Krawler also makes a great tie rod but it doesn;t come with tie rod ends.

I've also seen people with Currie tie rods that have done Ok but I do know one guy who has broken 2 of them so that is why i went with Synergy.

Thanks a lot guys for the info. Will start researching those two. Just bought a new bumper so gotta find one that doesn't break the bank. Lol.

Synergy will cost you a little more than RK but you need to factor in the cost of OEM tie rod ends that you will need to buy. The cost difference becomes very minimal at that point since Synergy comes with TRE's.

The other nice thing about the synergy is the diameter is the same as stock so you can keep your steering stabilizer bracket.

I went with Synergy tie rod. That was actually the main reason why I replaced the stock tie rod, because I couldn't get the adjuster moving, and was simply stripping the notches on it.

Bent my stocker into a frown.

Replaced it with a synergy tie rod.
