Loosen the nuts 3-4 turns and then smack the knuckle on the side of where the tapered tie rod inserts and it shall fall out. Then you can take the nuts the rest of the way off. Make some measurements before your remove the ends so that it will be as close as possible to drive to the alignment shop. Check with a local machine shop to get some chromoly or DOM drilled and tapped, or buy one from Rubicon Express or someone else.

If you have air tools, you can rent a tie rod end puller from Autozone, or maybe some other auto parts store. This makes it really easy. I don' tthink a professional alignment is necessary. Just measure your toe-in/out with a tape measure to a common point on the tires and center the steering wheel. This will save you the money for an alignment and will do just as well. Good luck.
