Default tierod flip

so i have a 3" teraflex lift. stock pitman arm and trackbar location on a PR44.

i want to flip my tierod to get it out of the way. now my question is, can i flip my tierod without flipping my draglink? reason is that i was told a flipped draglink on a 3" lift isn't recommended or needed after speaking with teraflex (i do not have bumpsteer or any steering woes).

i know that Reid makes knuckles that raises the tierod, but i dont know if i can run that knuckle WITHOUT flipping my draglink and only using the raised tierod location. if i cannot use the Reid knuckles is there a way i can flip my tierod on a stock knuckle?

YUP what he said, the only one you can flip without interfering with anything is the drag link, otherwise you have to flip both.

Ah alright. I figured there wasnt much room on the stock knuckle. But from what teraflex said a flipped draglink and a trackbar drop bracket would do more harm than good on a 3". Guess im stuck with a low tierod?

I have a 3" Teraflex lift and the EVO drag link flip kit, and that setup works great for me. The EVO kit is designed for lifts of 3" and above, and it completely eliminated the bump steer issues I was having. It uses a track bar brace on the axle side instead of a drop bracket on the frame side.

I believe the Teraflex drag link flip kit is meant for lifts of 4" and above, so maybe that's why they recommended against it in your case. Plus, you said your steering felt fine, so why mess with a good thing. Makes sense.

I have a 3" lift, Reid knuckles, and a drag link flip. With the Reid Knuckles and the flipped tie rod I don't think I had a cjoice but flip the drag link. May not be needed but the rig never handled better.

I agree that the TF flip is for 4" lifts or more and that is why TF advised against it.
