Default Is it time for an adjustable front track bar?

Hi all,

Take a look at the pictures below. I was re-torquing all of the bolts on my lift/ checking the undercarriage for any damage today, when I noticed that my passenger side front shock was extremely close to the frame rail. On further inspection, I noticed there had been some rubbing going on between the two. Looking at the driver's side shock, there was plenty of room between the frame rail and the shock, and looking at the sway bar links and the way the springs sit in relation to the bump stop extensions (2nd pic) you can just see the axle shift that occurs when you lift your Jeep.

I need some advice...is an adjustable front trackbar all I need to cure this problem? Is this damage going to weaken the shock at all? Any other problems, or potential problems?

Thanks,
ColinW

Ya Any Time You Lift More Than 2.5" Adj Trac Bars Is A Sound Investment

Will Hel Keep Your Jk's Geometry In Check Better Ride And Performance On And Off The Road

I GET THAT KIND OF RUB IN THE REAR IT IS JUST ON THE PLASTIC SHOCK COVER BUT I GUES IN THE LONG RUN THE THE SHOCKS BUSHINGS AND ROD SEALS WILL WEAR FASTER CAUSE THEY AREN'T COMPRESSING & EXTENDING IN A STRAIGHT LINE

A front adj. trackbar will help keep that front axle centered. You've been flexin your JK's muscles lately.
