Time to fix this right...I hope...
Well I am new here(have lurked for a while) I bought my wife a 07 JK 2dr x in Jan. It had a 4" superlift and 37''s. It had aftermarket 18'' wheels that she didn't like so I traded with a guy for his stock X 16'' wheels and put 35s on them. Well this helped the bump steer and ride quality to an extent but it was still dreadful to drive and damn near impossible on the highway or interstate. So I have finally had enough of the horrible driving and went nuts, bought front and rear adjustable track bars, all 8 adjustable control arms, a high steer kit, and a steering damper(plan on getting a second to run dual). This JK trashed the front drive shaft before we bought it so I took it off and plan to get another. I have a few questions for the gurus that are here.1) is there anything else that you would recommend for a stock like ride quality at this height and tire size? 2) With all 8 control arms being adjustable now would stock drive shafts be ok?
Thanks for the input guys. Keep it coming!
Would a drop pitman arm be helpful?
Is this drag link better? http://www.quadratec.com/products/16191_9007_07.htm
I am a complete noob to this " make it tall" stuff...I am more into making stuff do 100 mph in less than a 1/8 mile lol
