Default time for a LIFT!!!

I have 33" Duratracs. I've been looking at my spidertrax spacers for long enough, time to purchase a lift kit. My funds are not where I wish they were, so I'm looking for some feedback. I'm going with Teraflex 2.5, just can't decide if I really want to spend the extra dough on the coil lift rather than the BB. And if i get the BB with shocks, up jumps the price considerably.....it seems like i should wait and go with the coils.

So, what do y'all think?

1) BB with adapters

2) BB with new shocks

3) Coil lift

Gracias for the input, ladies and gents.

oh, and ROLL TIDE!

I went coil lift with adapters. My thinking at the time was to get some lift, but semi-limit the suspension travel until I get an understanding on what's going to happen with my drive shafts. At least I think that's what I was thinking...

Now that it's installed with all of that LoD steel I'm wondering if it was enough.

You also don't mention if you have a 2door or an unlimited. The answers are different.

I started with a RC 2.5" BB and Skyjacker hydro's.

Add a $35 TF rear track bar bracket (and a JKS adj. front track bar if the budget allows)

It was cheap, performed well, and I was able to build from there.

I dig what you're puttin' down, ECHO. I'm all in! You're right, the sickness is already taken hold of me. I'm on the computer all the time looking at bumpers, lights, bikini tops, exhuast systems....shit I'm screwed.

I will say this...

GET INVOLVED! Join a club, wheel and meet new friends.

My BB was a free "hand-me-down" from a friend who upgraded.
All I had to do was buy shocks. And at the time it was a stretch just to do that,
so I understand building on a budget.

If done in the correct order, a 'piece at a time' Frankenlift will yield
great results.

Thanks to both of you for the welcome. I love this forum. Mud, would you loan me some money so I can knock out a couple of my more important upgrades??

The moral of my story is.. with a coil lift you can leave it as is.. or add pucks later for when you add equipment.. which you will, if you spend any time on here... My Coil lift put me back to where I needed to be & I added a 1/2" puck in front to make up for the bumper/winch

The short version .. my advise = Coil lift ........................Ohh & welcome to the Forum!
x2 ...Get the TF coil lift from the getgo, so you wont have to spend twice on a lift kit...It will even allow you to run 35s if you ever upgrade your tires + if you need a little more clearance for the 35s you can always add a 1" BL rather than buying another lift kit or springs...
