Question time for new shocks - "... need a little help, over here..."

I'm running DuraTracs on my 2007 Sahara, and need shocks, starting to show some feathering on one (ending my 5x rotations...)
Unfortunately, I'm spending more and more time on the road (highway), so I need a heavy duty shock that also rides well...

The guy at my shop is pushing a KYB, saying it has a 3 stage valve that would suit my road needs at the higher speeds, but I can't find much online (other than opinions from you dedicated rock crawlers...)

get some bilsteins 5100 or 5160s... Rancho 9000XLs

my personal opinion is, you get what you pay for... definitely teh way to solve your problem, for a long time is Elka, Walker Evans, Pace setter, Fox or Kings...

Look to the 9000's a lot run these and are really happy.
Most people will settle on any where to a 3 to 6 on a setting depending on if you want a softer or firmer ride.
They also are eligible for our rebate as well.

Good luck on your choice.

I'll agree with the 5100's. I just put a set on my 09 JKU with a TF leveling kit and 33s and love the ride
