Default Time to reinforce the axles

After reading about people breaking track bar brackets, and bending the axles and all the other horror stories, I think that it is time to reinforce these axles, this is cheap insurance and think it should be done. Allright, I am going to get the EVO C gussetts to reinforce the Cs on the front. I have the rear track bar braced with the T flex bracket. Now for the front, the only one that I see that does not relocate the track bar and just braces the mount is the JKS, from what I read there is a problem with steering stabilizers and this brace. What route should I go? I do not have metal fab skills to make something, I am going to have to have someone weld this for me.

Treks makes one with two mounting holes.

That one relocates the track bar, so it appears. Arent you supposed to do the draglink flip if you put in a front track bar relocating bracket?

I used the JKS front brace (as well as rear). And I reccommend them.

You do not have to re-locate the steering stabilier but you do have that option if you like raise it out of harms way. They have another hole you can use to bolt up the stabilizer and it does create a strained angle for that end. The instruction suggest using a stabilizer with spherical bearing on that end.

You also have the choice to leave the track bar in the factory location or raise it a few inches. These braces do the job very well and are not over engineered. Download the instruction PDF below. You will have a guy putting on your EVO C gussets any way so this IMHO is a great option for you.

I think that might be the ticket. I was looking for the most dumb proof welding job I could find, taking the 3 page insructions with the JKS made me nervous. Is the strength comparing the Rockkrawler comparable to the JKS?

So there is no interference between the bracket and steering stabilizer if you wish to keep the stabilizer in the stock location? The instructions dont mention this, though I do not doubt what you are saying, from the picture it appears that it would rub together.

You might want to go a little farther if your welding on your front axle anyway. With your setup especially if your thinking of the possibility of going to 37's take a look at the following:

C-gussets (I used EVO)
Lower control arm brackets (I haven't done this yet, but regret not doing it with the other work)
Track bar brace (I used Currie)
Axle tubes (I used EVO)

The money (ie. Time) is in the labor the parts arn't that expensive.

I fabed up my own brace for mine, but I did install a front JKS on a friends JK. It will not work with both the stock track bar and stock steering stabaliser without modifying the bracket. Didn't find this out till 10pm on a week day putting the front end back together. It is easy to weld on though, the only reason theres 3 pages of welding instructions is cause they are very detailed. I found for what its doing, its far too expensive, especially when you can't use all your stock components (without modifying it) . I'm glad I didn't spend the money on it.
