getting that time and the more I look the more I cant figure out what will work, I have 3" of lift with skyjackers now, drive tons of rough gravel road day in and day out, most that are really washboarded so will beat to death, need something that will help keep the jump down but still has some stiffness to it. need some real world on this one. thx

x2, Virtually everyone here will support Bilstein 5100's, great shocks that are affordable. Very nice all around!

If you're driving that much I'd say a reservoir, fox or 5160.

Yes 51602 would be the best bet if you are on rough roads for more then a hour or 2

i might spend an 1 or 2 driving per day on the roads but not all at once, i work in the gas and oil fields and the 18 wheelers tear up the roads and fields bad, and once they get bad they only get worse, so guess next check I will order some 5100s,

Running long periods of time on roads like this will dramatically increase the heat from a single monotube 5100, that's why a reservoir would also be a viable option to consider:

Bilstein's 5160 Series Reservoir Shocks are designed to easily install in the stock shock mounting location on pickups and SUVs, with no cutting or welding required. They utilize Bilstein's industry leading mono tube design for the ultimate in performance off-road and on. Other features include: Unique digressive valving system instantly produces full damping capability, Remote reservoir dramatically increases shock oil capacity for even greater heat dissipation and damping sensitivity, Reservoir mounting configuration designed specifically for each vehicle application, For increased wheel travel and more shaft movement, the "floating" dividing piston is located in the reservoir

Good luck on your decision either way. I personally have the 5160s and will vouch for their long cycling of the piston and extra oil capacity here in our fast desert sections in AZ

Looked them up on Evo's site, Whats so special about the springs vs. other companies springs?
What kind of ride quality do they bring to the table?

Really curious as I am looking to upgrade my front springs in order to remove the rake out of my Jeep's stance.
