Personally I have found that running lower pressure in like the 32psi range has been more comfortable and handles well. When i had them mounted, the shop had them at like 50psi and they where a very jarring ride.

You need to know that the max tire pressure is at max load for the tire. Your jeep comes no where near the max load. 28 to 32 psi is a good tire pressure for all year around driving.

+1 on this. The ST maxx is an 'E' rated tire so it's made for a much heavier vehicle. If you do the chalk test, you'll find (at least on my JKUR with equipment) that 30 psi gave the best wear. The shop had them at 38 psi and was way too rough of a ride. I've been running these at 30 psi for 3,000 miles and they are wearing evenly and are quiet on the interstate. When off road, I drop them to 20 psi with no issues. I have found that these tires do GREAT in the rocks and beach sand. Haven't had them in the mud or snow yet.
