Default Tire Balancing Beads

Has anyone here tried the dynamic tire balancing beads instead of the traditional weight method? I was talking to a pickup owner who uses them on his Mud Grappler 37s and he said it is ribbon smooth. Was interested in anyones feedback, good or bad!

Never heard of that, do these beads go inside the tire? Wouldn't they be noisy if that's where they go?

I'd like to hear feedback as well as I purchased a set of Offroad Dyna Beads for my 35" Nitto Trail Grapplers on my ATX Slab bead locks. I'm going to try and mount the tires later on today. Here are some posts frpm a search for Dyna.

I saw some where, said to use 8-10 oz of air-soft beads and a couple oz of antifreeze on 40's. Go figure? Supposed to be the ticket..

They are ceramic beads that you pour into the tire either through the valve stem with non TPMS or into the tire when mounting. They continually balance the tire while rotating and keep working even through tire wear, etc. It looks like about 8 ounces of beads in each tire for 35s.

I just mounted up my new wheels with used tires and put roughly 10 oz of Airsoft brand bb's from Walmart. It costs me less than $30 for all 5, and they are running great. When going slowly you can hear them making a sloshing sound, but I figured the savings in getting them balance was worth any sort of noise. It makes a nice "raining" sound when you stop sort of quickly as the bb's all fall down.

42" MTR Kevlars mounted on ATX Slab beadlocks...... I couldnt find anyone to balance them. I was skeptical about dynaneads after reading some reviews.

Since I really had no choice I decided to try dynabeads.

Now I'm pissed I spent all that money on sticky weights that always came off while wheeling when dynabeads are the way to go!

Drives smooth as can be down the highway at 85mph with dynabeads!

Interesting info. This may be the way to go. Any drawbacks to using these?
