I just installed the OR Fab Tire Carrier. Not an easy install on the 2010's, but so far it is very solid.

I just hung a 35/12.50 KM2 on my stock 09 Sahara carrier. I added the Daystar bumpstops. I read somewhere that a deflated tire rides with less vibration. So far no squeaks or rattles, seems very snug.

Wouldn't it defeat the purpose of having a spare if it was deflated?

I just assumed that everyone with 35" tires, wheels and airs down. Therefore carries some sort of onboard air supply.

Some do, some don't. Some peeps bum air , some just drive it to an airpump if its not too far away. I have onboard air, but would never run around with a deflated spare.

I have the smittybilt tire carrier for $100, and put the MBRP tailgate reinforcement kit on for $40. Works great so far!
