Default Tire Carrier's

I'm looking at getting a rear tire carrier, was going to fab my own at first but then ran into one simple problem... I can't weld.
So, I started looking for just tire carrier's that wouldn't break the bank. I want one that mounts to the bumper and not the tailgate. I have the mopar offroad rear bumper.. i.e. a large chunk of steel to play with. i found this one below as well as looked at the TeraFlex tire carrier, but can't find much else out there in that price range.

Look forward to people's inputs.

I am also curious about this one. I will be replacing mine in January when I swap out the tires and rims.

I looked into the Or-Fab, but it mounts to the tailgate.. goal is to get the weight off the tailgate.. not put more on.

Or-Fab carrier does not mount to the tailgate. They mount outside of it. They're really strong... really strong! Well built with plenty of reinforcement. Takes some time to install, but worth it.

Aside from Or-Fab I don't know what else is out there is in a decent price range, in my opinion. Lots of expensive tire carriers if they are bumpers too. Good luck with your search. I just throw my tire in the back.

AEV's tire carrier will work with the factory bumper (or probably most other aftermarket rear bumpers). The tire carrier alone from AEV is a lot less than buying their entire bumper and is well designed to swing WITH the tailgate. I just ordered mine

Well you could, but I doubt that it would hold any significant weight, that and i no longer have any plastic in the rear.
