Default tire chalk test question

I have a question about doing the tire chalk test for proper psi. Are you supposed to do it with cold tires or warm tires? Thanks

I doubt the chalk test is accurate enough to notice the PSI difference between cold and hot tires. If you are worried about it, probably best to do at cold PSI since "hot" covers a very wide range. That's why the sidewalls state cold PSI - it's a more controllable point to measure.

Just my 2 cents.
