Tire Frame Rubbing - Spacers Required
I recently installed my lift, wheels, and tires. I didn’t expect rubbing…but…guess what. Tires have no rubbing in forward and reverse…in 2nd or 4wd.
When testing flex I have rubbing at frame rail. I intend to install spidertrax 1.5” or 1.75” spacers as I am not buying new wheels. I thought I had the backspacing correct for no rubbing but it is what it is. So the question is 1.5” or 1.75” spacers? Also, any other suggestions…

Folks will need some details, which thankfully you have shared on your profile ...
American Expedition Vehicles 3.5” Dual Sport
37”x12.5”Toyo Open Country MT
20”x10” Motiv 425MB
Since those wheels are available with a custom offset, what is yours?

With a 37" tire you really need to be around 3.5" BS. Go with the 1.5" "adapters". If you do your own work that will be one that will aggravate you for years.....having 20 extra lug nuts in the equation.
ok, just wanted to make sure that 1.5” was enough. I’ve had spacers before and am not crazy about having them, but it is better than the alternative.

I know this thread is a month old - but if you still need Spider Trax spacers - let me know - I have a new set that I was getting ready to post for sale.
