Default Tire help

I have an 08 X and I am having a hard time figuring out what tires size I want to run. This Jeep will primarily be my wifes and she is happy w\ stock suspension. However, it does bother her that the front sits lower than the back. There is a solution to this problem as well right? Anyway, we have 17inch wheels now and were thinking about 285/75/17's. Is this to much tire for the X not lifted? I also thought about dropping down to 16inch wheels. Basically I'm asking for opinions on the largest tire I could place w\out rubbing and what offset wheel I would need. Thanks

Welcome to Jk-Forum Jeep Dad. First I think that that tire size should work with little or no problems. You should be able to run a 33" tire without any problems. Also you can get a 3/4" or 1" spacer for the front springs to help level out the factory rake.

You can also look here in the FAQ.
