Default Tire and lift question

Planning on putting 33x12.50/18's on and looking for some lift suggestions. Everyone has their own opinions about each lift, so it's tough to decide. Looking for a similar to stock ride quality, but not going to be too picky because I know it will change with a lift. Thinking of teraflex 2.5 budget or coil lift. Also, the rough country looks like a good buy. Not trying to spend more than $600. Any suggestions?

I don't have alot of experience with Jeep stuff so keep that in mind. I was looking at 2"-3" before I decided to go with the 4". I liked what the Rustys 3.25" lift had in it, 2 new trac bars, not relocation brackets. It was about $550.
Something to look at.....

you really dont need to lift it with 33's unless you just want too.

33x11.5/17 with 1.75'' RC lift, no rub, ride quality is worse but acceptable because i did not buy new shock I still have X low quality shock.

2.5'' TF BB with shock ride confort will be near stock, dont expect to be the same.

If you plan on adding bumpers and winch you should go with coil lift, you will gain 3''-3.5'' of lift but keep in mind at that height you will need to replace more suspension parts so you'll end up with nearly 1k $ of mods (LCA,adj trackbar,driveshaft)

i only know by the experience i have.
went with bumpers first. big heavy xrc in back. then i put the 33" duratracs on without lift. they ran great until i went wheeling. even in the mildest stuff, i was rubbing the front fenders like crazy.
solution = 2.5" RC BB with shocks. $175 used. rides better than stock and no more rubbing.
if i had not found that set up, i was going with the TF Coil and Bilsteins being offered for just over 700 by ORW. i may still do that and sell this kit to one of my jeep buddies.
33's = 2.5", but honestly i think JKU's look good with 4" lift and 35's, so maybe one day i'll do that.

I have the rough country 3.5 lift and I put nitto trail grappler 34's on first. Then decided that since my gas milage sucked anyways with hose, I may as well get the ones I wanted to begin with,, so I bought the trailgrapplers in 35x12.50. Pics with stock wheels are 34" and black wheels are the 35s.

** the last pic is the 34" tires before the lift was installed.

Just got a quote from Gus V at ORW on the TF 2.5" coil lift with shock extensions.

BTW... I am planning on adding an XRC bumper and winch. Does it handle 35's on the trail with no issues? Am I going to need a steering stablizer or anything else?
