Default tire light is flashing

i just put a new set of bf tires and wheels off a new 2012 jeep on me 2008 . And the tire light flashes 3 time and then will not go off. How can i fix this ? Thanks

I assume those are OEM wheels off the 2012....I believe the TPMS uses different frequency than 2008 did.

Yup, TPMS isn't interchangeable between all model years. Frequencies change and communication protocals change. You need to turn them off with a ProCal unit, or get some '08 sensors put in.

Yep, the 2012 sensors are not compatible with the 08 year. Had that issue myself.

$150 for a Procal from AEV. Well worth it, with the other settings you can change (dt running lights, engine idle, etc.)

Unless you want to buy new TPMS sensors.

Or, just ignore the light.

It is illegal for a dealer to disable a safety device like TPMS. You need to buy new sensors or buy a Procal/tuner.

Fixed by replacing the sensors to my model year.
