Default tire options

I have a 2010 jku Rubicon. I am wanting to go with a 15 inch rim and go to a 33/1250 r15 or 35/1250r15. I have heard that you can run a 35 without lift but people suggest rear gearing . so i have 2 questions will the 15 ich rim fit ? Can i run the 35 with out rub and regearing?

They never read the stickies My motto is: Read more, post less. You lessen the chances of looking like an idiot when you do post.

15 inch rims rub the brake calipers. 33s are the largest you can run stock without rubbing. You can run a 35 without lift if you chop fenders and pinch seams, otherwise you need a 2.5" lift. You don't need to regear if you don't like using 6th gear.

I tried to use as few of characters as possible in answering the question. I'll try harder next time.

The statement that 15" rims rub the calibre is hit or miss depending on the wheel and its backspace / offset. You just need to research the wheel in question and be sure its fits over the caliber before buying.

Or got to a shop for test fit / order 1 test rim from a place with a good return policy.
