I'm running 35 12.5 17 E rated tires what should I run for air pressure on the road. The jeep is so much lighter then pick up truck I can't see running over 25 pounds or so. What's your opinion

 

I run 37 lbs. in same size tire. Works good for me.

 

Chalk test is always a good way to get even wear.

 

Chuck test is the best way to find out what's correct for your jeep, I run 30 pounds in mine but mainly for fuel reasons. I found the ride very good at 30 pounds and keeps my fuel mileage at 16mpg. But I drive an average of 500 miles a week

For new users, the infamous "CHUCK test" is an old redneck thing, you find a Carpetbagger, aka Yankee, named Chuck, and you run him over and see how the blood splatter wears off of your tires...

chalk test x 100 but i am running the same size/rating and run 20 in summer and 22 winter.

 

Seriously, I'm dying to do a chalk test, even bought a box of big bulky chalk for kids to use on sidewalks...

problem is when I got my Jeep back from the shop with the new 37's we had a slow but steady run of rain, and then the snow started just often enough that it's hard to find 100 ft of flat road that is dry enough...
