Default Tire pressure help…

Looking for a starting point……. Getting new 35” tires mounted today and will be doing the chalk test so I’ll be able to reset my TPMS correctly. What pressure did everyone end up using…… I know each vehicle will be different but I’m hoping to narrow down my starting point to save some time if possible. I DO have aftermarket steel front winch bumper(no winch yet) and rock rails but the rest is basically stock. Thanks for any and all help…..Mike

When we went 35s and did the chalk,, we landed at 27-28 psi.. these are JKUs and are on 17x9 wheels. Still in the 1st yr of running 35s. We set the TPMS with Jscan at 28.

Yup, usually in that 28-30 range for most, and obviously you have the trade off of full tread on the pavement and even wear vs. added drag and decreased fuel economy.

I have Cooper Discoverer At3 XLT in 315/70-17, E Rating on AEV Salta wheels.
I'm at 30 front and 28 rear, might still need to go a touch lower.
Just replaced my Cooper ST-MAXX 315's with 64K on them.

Set mine for comfort...large tires never last that long anyway. 26PSI.
