Default Tire PSI

Ok so I'm headed to work this am, havent driven the jeep in 2 days so all of the lugs still have the white rock dust from my road, it rained at some point this morning wetting the roads a bit. When I get out at work I notice the outside lugs on all 4 tires still ha e the white rock dust while the center lugs are black from where the wet pavement washed off the dust. To me that seems to say that my psi, 35 currently, is too high and not allowing all of the lugs wear evenly. Is my assumption correct? And that I should lower the psi to have all lugs impact evenly?

You are correct the psi is too high. I run 28-30 in my 35s with my 2dr.

^^x2. Do the chalk line test on them to see what the correct PSI you need to be running. When I got mine installed, they had the PSI set up between 40-50 psi, even though I told them not to. It was immediately fixed.

Agree with everyone else, do it soon so you can corrrect it and avoid some costly replacements due to uneven wear patterns

I contacted BFG and they told me that I should run my 35x17x12.50 BFG KM2's at 30 PSI to get the same load capacity as my stock BFG KMs at the manufacturer recommended 37 PSI.

That pretty much matches what I saw when I did the chalk test (28 PSI).

So I generally run them between 28 and 30 PSI on the street.

Assuming you're running 35+ PSI now, you should notice a nice improvement in ride quality dropping down to 28 - 30.
