I have a 07 4door with 4:10 gears a 2.5 in lift and 18in rims with a auto. I want to get new tires what size is a good one to get. I dont want to to go real big but id like to go as big as I can without problems any ideas

 

well i got a 2010 sport 3.73 unlimited and i been looking around my jk came with 255/75/17 which are 32" 33 are just a little bigger since i park next to someone tyhat had them i would never waste the money. 34s almost weight the same as 35 2 to 4 pounds differents plus they are hard to find and there are few choises so 35s is my final the winner for me so look are what would work best for you

 

You could run some small 35's, since most 35's really are in the 34" range. Otherwise true 33s are a given.

 

I've been running KM2 35's with 4.10 gears and no problems at all. As stated already, these actually measure around 34"

 

as mentioned, small 35's or their metirc equivalent 305's would be what i would go with.

 

I just put on 305/75R17 MTRs on my Unlimited with a 3" lift and it looks well balanced. They are listed at 34.1" while the 35s are 34.8" I didn't think I would notice the difference on the trails and it is Slightly less strain on the steering. All of the tires are slightly smaller than listed sizes.

 

im thinking about the Nitto Mud Grappler any thoughts??

 

I have a 3" lif with the 4.10s. I just went from 285s to 35x12.5 and I cant tell a difference in loss of power but havent had it offroad yet. I think they look good!

*Edit* The new tires are Nitto Trail Grapplers and man they look sharp.
