Default Tire Recommendation

Ok, so I have a new 4DR wrangler and am putting a 2.5 rough country lift on w/17 inch wheels. I have 3 choices on tire narrowed down (I say this because these are the best tires for the best price I could find fourwheelparts.com):

1. BF Goodrich M/T KM2 285 - 70 R17 Load Range D $983.00
2. Pro Comp Radial Mud Terrain 33x 12.50 Load Range D $882.00
3. Pro Comp X-Terrain Radial 305-65 R17 Load Range E $885.00

I use my jeep for day to day driving (about 10 miles to and from work) and I like to go play in the mud on the weekends...So my question is, what do you all recommend? I know there is a lot of experience out there, and am hoping to get some help.

Like I said these are the best choices based on my budget. I really dont want to spend over 1k on tires. But if anyone knows where I can get them cheaper please post a link!

I just got done researching tires and wheels and this is what I found: best price for tires is discount tire direct. I don't think the KM2's are good on ice if that is a consideration (plus the size I wanted were on backorder for minimum of 4 weeks). Mixed reviews on pro comps but load range E is made for large heavy duty trucks. I went with the Cooper STT which was about the same price as the pro comp and cheaper than km2. If you are choosing based upon price I would say the nitto but I only have experience with 33x18 tires.

I have always run BFG M/T's or KO's, and recently went with the ProComp XTerrains and love them. They are quiet on the freeway, and give a good ride in town, but still aggressive enough for the off-roading that I do. Everyone I have talked to has had great success with them as well.

Take a look at the Cooper STT's, very quiet and very good on and offroad. Also they are priced very reasonably, and the tread pattern is very similar to the Toyo M/T which were 120$ more a tire!!

I really like tire rack.com. Unless that is on the blacklist, which I don't know how to find.

I have these, great tire, sticky on rocks, but chunk like a mofo. If your gonna do alot of rocks , don't get em. If your doing muddy trails, there great.
