Default Tire/rim help on 2dr '07 Base X

Hi all, I am going to order new tires and rims for my daily driver 2dr 2007 Base X with no lift. I was wondering if I would have any rubbing issues running Cragar chrome soft 8 17x9 with MT Baja Radial MTX 32x10.5r17, or if i am better off going with a 16x8 rim instead? or is anyone currently running this setup? Thanks for all the help in advance.

Hey tks,

I'm running a similar setup you want. I have the X also. I have the ProComps in 17x9 with those same tires. No lift on it (yet) but the SuperLift BB is on the work bench in the garage itching to go on.
I have no issues at all; none. I commute daily, and the only difference is I have a bigger smile when I'm around our JK with the new tires and wheels.

Go For It.
Have a great day.

Here's RedRock's tire calculator, if it helps:

http://www.redrock4x4.com/tech/tire_calc.php

I don't think you would have a problem, that's not much larger than the upgraded wheels/tires (245/75-16); about 1.5" taller and .9" wider.
