What's that? That the air dam is highly removable to clear wider tires?

Break out the lawyers?? Lol don't know what to say man. It's a piece of 1/8" plastic with no purpose. Don't see the issue. OP sounded like he had the situation under control by trimming it.

Actually, I used my air dam as a dust pan before I threw it away when I was cleaning the garage. But to the OP, while removing it looks better, trimming it will work fine, and does slightly reduce hood flutter at highway speeds.

You can trim it with a cutoff wheel. Get a wheel with more backspacing. Or you can do what most of us have done and just 86 the thing and then your rubbing issues are taken care of.
