Hey fellow jersey folk - your question is rather vague as there is a lot more to it than that. Such as.... Are you looking to run a Mud Terrain or All Terrain? What size wheel do you plan on running? Width? How much lift to do you have? Any extra weight?(Aftermarket bumpers, skids, sliders, lights, 5th spare....)also on how you plan on wheeling. Lots of rocks? Just mud and water? Need the right tire for sidewall strength on rocks, etc....All terrain - less noisy/ barely any hum, semi-better MPG, lighter, longer tread life. Mud Terrain - louder, less MPG, heavier, less tread life. Weight factors in more stress on the stock drivetrain, especially with a higher lift, heavier tires, and taller/wider tires added to the mix.

Sounds like a good plan. I have the 315/70-17 Duratracs and love them! They do great in the rocks and pretty good in the mud.
