Default Tire size & Axel Question

Now first off, im sure there is another thread answering this question,
in fact im 100% sure cause i saw it, but i cant find it now and the
search didnt work out for me, found too much other crap,
so sorry ahead of time for repeating a question!

I got a bone stock X. Dana 30 front, and Dana 44 rear. Im lifting it
and putting on bigger tires. i was gonna put on 33"s but i recently was
extreamly lucky enough to get 4.10 gears instead of the 3.21s it came with.

So now im planning on putting on 35"s.

I dont know much about axles and was wondering if anyone
who knows what there talking about can tell me if 35"s would
be really pushing it. (also wondering why tire size effects it soo much,
strength issue?)

Not trying to be funny - but does Spellcheck not work in NM. Or is it just a Bud"wiser"- ( that means smarter)- thing. I think Axel Rose is still spending his $$$$ and not Gunning his Roses.

from some of the posts i have read... some people have had issues, but seem to be tied in with how they drive their jeep. i am sure the extra weight could cause potential issues, but changing anything opens you up for potential problems.

You will not have any problems running the D30 and D44 with 35's and 4.10 gears as long as you don't run the sh!^ out of it. Just like nc07jk said the people that have broke running that set-up were hard on the go pedal. You can be stock and break if you are wide open through all the trails. The D44 will take 35's with no problems, the D30 is what you have to watch. The D30 in the JK's is much stronger than the previous version. If you are going to upgrade anything with the front end, I would suggest upgrading the axles, the diff shoud be fine. I hope this helps.

As mentioned you should be fine with this combo as long as you don't hammer your junk. Personally I think the 4.10's would be inadequate for 35's (I think they are just adequate for the stock 32's), but this is definitely subjective.
