Default tire size conversion

What size does 305/70/17 convert to(including width). If I were to put this size would I need to go with 1.5" spacers? If I wanted to go with an aftermarket wheel would I stick out to far?

Tires converstion equation..PXXX/YYRZZ equals (((XXX/25.6)*0.YY)*2)+ZZ
eg, p255/75R17 = (255/25.6)*.75)*2)+17=31.94

For anyone reading this thread... here is the formula to figure it out.

Your question is a little all over the place, are you planning on mounting them on your stock rims?...if so then yes wheel spacers will be required, Or are you planning on buying a different rim? Either way of course being a wider tire they will stick out a little, whats too far for you?
Your on a computer, a simple google search will yield many answers for you.
