AEV should have the updates for the 2012 by the middle of October, I will order one then.

Thanks,

I think that statement was more geared toward the automatic trans. The larger tire size will confuse the shifting and it will hunt for gears because of the perceived slower speed. I don't think there is any performance gain or that the Procal does anything with the engine tuning. The sluggishness you may be feeling can come from the much higher rotational weight of new rims/tires. A small difference in tires/wheels weight takes a lot more power/torque to spin especially if you have 3.21's.

My two cents - most highly complex computer applications have preloaded tables with values in them. You do this so that making changes to those variables doesn't require actually modifiying written code. I'd guess that the AEV Procal merely give one the ability to change those table values. But those table values have nothing to do with changing logic in the system. That's a whole different ball game. For my Mustangs, I actually have a setup to literally change the Ford computer logic for the Fox body models. Oh yes, you can destroy the earth with that (right along with the engine as well).

It only took me a full day to find this quote. Thank you. One extra question, will the pro cal leave a "footprint" on the ECU? I don't want to have any warranty issues on my 12'. Thanks

Default Speedometer re-programmer

Just put one of these on a 2012 that was lifted... easy to do, doesnt mess with engine warranty ( like all other programmers that include performance options)
