Default Tire Size opinion

I know there has been a lot wriiten on this subject and have done a good bit of reading but would be interested in specific opinions on this. I am in process of installing 3" lift. Had concluded to go with 34" tires as good compromise between 33 & 35. Have 6 speed 4 door and will be going with 4.88's.
Will be my daily driver with off roading maybe once a month. Now second guessing my decision on 34's and wondering if going to make move to upgrade going to 35's. I have to pull trigger on tire decision this week so would appreciate others opinions. My logic was the Toyo MT 34" was 285 which would be good on road while being sufficient offroad, but heavy at 71lbs.
Now wondering what I lose/gain to going with the GY MTR 35" that know is good tire,of course 12.5" wide but almost 7lbs. lighter.
Appreciate opinions. Thanks

Some people will argue that Toyo is a better offroad tire, but both seem to be excellent tires. The number of plys could be where the weight difference comes from. I'm not sure. I think you'll be happier with the 35's though.
