I currently have 265/70/18 on mine. I have been told that 285's will fit. I didn't have a chance to get anything bigger because my wife suprised me with the Jeep as a present and the dealer would only put 265's on because the 285's were a 10ply tire. They fill out the fenderwell but don't look huge by any means.

Our JK is my wife's daily driver so I'm no looking to lift it or anything soon, but I would like to put some 18's with a good looking all terrain. I too am curious what is a good size without a lift and a good size with a mild lift.

Also curious about what you guys are doing to correct the spedometer when you put larger diameter wheels and tires.

I have 285/65/18 BFG's (32.59x11.22x18) on my stock Sahara Wheels. They do rub! a little. not sure on what, but its not the air dam. Most likely will add 1.5 spacers.

Also I was told when I called BFG this was the biggest size (width) the recommended for the 18x7.5 wheels.

Sorry no pics she's in the shop now :( https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...highlight=deer
