Default Tire stuff problems???

want to run a Teraflex 2.5" BB with shocks and 315 75 R16 MT/R's on 4.5 Back spaced rims. This will go on my 08 Rubicon 2dr. My question is will the Teraflex bumpstops included in the kit prevent stuffing the tires into the wheel well at full flex disconnected??

One other option is to go with the 305 70 R17's that measure 34" but they are substantially more expensive as are the wheels to match.

Thanks

For what it's worth, I have the 3" kit and the only serious rubbing I had was on that front plastic air damn. So that got cut pretty quick.

Yea the rocks out here took care of that air dam so no issue there. I just want the least amount of lift with the biggest tires and no serious interference.

Thanks

Disconnecting? Willing to trim the fenders or go to flats? Willing to add more bumpstop to prevent rubbing?

However, if you can swing it, I'd recommend you spend a little extra and do the Teraflex 2.5" coil lift with shocks, plus an adjustable front trackbar, and front lower adjustable control arms.
That's exactly what I had planned as well as new driveshafts but my Dealer (only one in area) said no lifetime warranty on drivetrain if lifted or oversize tires so my solution has to be something that I could go back to stock with minimal effort and still run the 34" to 35" tires. I'm retired and spend alot of time in the local desert so I want to get my moneys worth out of the Stealership when it comes time to repair whatever.

Thanks for the replys

That sucks...cant beleive the stealership told you this. I was told as long as the lift didnt cause the issues warranty would pick it up. The dealer I went to say they always put 2.5 coil lift and retain all warranties. Good luck

Yea even if "They" put on the MOPAR labeled 2.5 spring lift (to expensive anyway) you are required to sign a disclaimer that totally scre*s up your warranty.

The way I stand I am being strapped off to many rocks and sliding across alot of the others so a few inches would make me happy. The only challenge for my Rubicon is being vertically challenged.
